Why is reading important in our daily lives? What are some types of reading material that you can find online? Is reading of online material less important than reading of print material?
Choose one specific piece of online writing (1 article, 1 site, 1 blog, etc.) and use it to guide your response; make sure you include a link to the piece of writing! You do not need to respond to all of the preceding questions; you do, however, need to explain the reasoning behind your ideas and to organize your response into approximately 2 cohesive (smooth) paragraphs of insightful ideas.

Reading is important in our daily lives because reading exercises the part of the brain that is not triggered by most other things. Reading is a different way of using the english language. Certain types of reading material you can find online are news/sports articles. Also you can use nook which is a program where you can read books online.
ReplyDeleteI think reading material online is the same as reading a book or pamphlet. There really is no difference except that one is online and one is not.
Reading includes not only books but also nearly everything in the world. It is important in our daily lives because living does require reading. For example, one reads road signs when he/she drives. One reads labels on cans and boxes in the grocery store. One reads paper to look for a job.

I think that reading is very important in our daily lives, it lets us obtain information and it can be entertaining at times. You can find all sorts of things to read online such as things posted on Facebook or other social networking sites. There are plenty of things to read such as wall posts, status updates, or comments on picturs.
ReplyDeleteReading things on-line is just as useful as printed material. You can read the same things as there would be in a newspaper and the information can be put out quicker and to a broader audience. As long as the information you are reading is accurate,which is sometimes not the case on "the FB", it is just as important as reading a newspaper or magazine article.
