  1. I choose the quote " Laughter is by definition healthy". I chose this quote because i agree with it 100 percent. Laughter is something that everyone does its really hard to find someone who never laughed at something before. If you dont then that can be a problem, people that arent happy ever and never laugh are unhealthy, it is a virtue that everyone should have. Laughing helps people to get through sad times, moments or even just a bad day. For example, the reason people do some of the crazy stuff they do now a days is because they are unhappy unhealthy people and this is what leads to bigger problems. Everyone should have to courage to laugh and be happy everyday of their life, its what helps you to move forward, its a whole different outlook on life.

I agree with this quote 100%. There is nothing better in this world then laughter. No matter what it helps determine makes you happy. If you dont laugh, your not normal. It shows emotion and lets you be yourself. If your down or sad about somthing, you usually get your friends to cheer you up. How do they do it? They get you to laugh. When times are rough some people depend on laughing to get them through their rough times. Being unhappy is unhealthy. For example: If your not a happy person, people dotn want to be around you.

  3. I completly agree with the quote "Laughter is by definition healthy" because you can not be healthy emotionally if there is now joy and laughter in your life. You might be in top physical condition but if you depressed your body will suffer.Even in todays society people go to comedy shows or watch funny things on TV becuase it makes you feel good to laugh. Without laughter the world would be a dull and boring place. Laughing is not only healthy emotionally but when also physically because when I laugh sometimes I get an ab workout. Laugher is without a doubt very healthy, I higly reccomend it.

I totally agree with that statement because it is so true. How are you supposed to go through life without being able to trust someone. you hear about stuff all the time about old people stealing from other people and other things like that and my parents always say that you can't trust anybody. But I also agree with that statement. But if you think about it, if you can't trust anybody, then the only person you can trust is yourself and that is really hard because its tough to go around your life whem the only person you can trust is yourself. I think if you are the to trust, how are you supposed to buy anything or sell stuff because you could never trust whether or not you are going to get the money you sold it for or if you buy something and you get a box of newspapers when you really paid for an xbox. Thats terrible.

  5. I chose “Laughter is by definition healthy.” – Doris Lessing. I agree with this because it is always a good thing to laugh and have fun. For example you could be having a really bad day like if you were in school and received a bad score on a paper you wrote and thought was done really well that would ruin your day. Now you could be in a bad mood for the rest of the day or be mad at the teacher or you could go to friend that knows how to make you laugh and that person could cheer you up by making a few joke’s or telling you an embarrassing story that happened to them.
Another example would be the other day when I was in a bad mood because of work I went home and put on comedy central and watched it for just a few seconds and began to laugh and was beginning to get in a better mood. That is why I believe you need laughter to be healthy.

  6. The quote that I chose to write about it is “Laughter is by definition healthy.” by Doris Lessing. I agree with this quote because I believe laughter is healthy, and it keeps you healthy.
At the end of October, one of my best friends lost her grandfather. Before he passed, I went to the hospital with her so she could say her goodbye’s to him and tell him how much she loves him; and that was the saddest moment of my life. We both instantly started crying, but she still went inside the hospital room while I stood outside. When she was finished, she was very quiet but I know something that would cheer her up. We listened to a song on my iPod that made us laugh extensively. The laughter we shared made coping with her grandfather’s death much easier.
Laughing is a good source of medicine that keeps people happy because it releases enzymes out your system, and it makes life easier. If everyone in the world laughed 4 times a week, I think the world and people would be much happier. I reccomend people should attempt to laugh more frequently.

  7. “The human race has one really effective weapon, and that is laughter.” – Mark Twain
Laughter has truly been an important role in my life because I try my best to use it. As mark Twain says, it is our only effective weapon. I use it the opposite way, a redeemer. Even when I was little I tried to use humor to hoodwink my mother out of punishing me. On a good day, it would work and my Mom would not rule out any punishment, but not all the time. Sometimes she would get more angry that I tried to make a joke of it. Either way, I weighed the liabilities and would always try to use humor.
As another example, In grade school, my schoolmate and I did not get along. We were just different people and we ended up going to the same High School. We had some of the same classes and who would have guessed, sat next to eachother. It was kind of awkward at first but then we started talking. We would always joke around about the teachers, always laughing. I can truly say that laughter, resurrected that friendship. Laughter is a powerful expression, and people sometime look past it. I think people should be more easy to make laugh. Laughter can change a life.
