I agree with this quote. Every fighting leaves injury and harm. People fight for their own good or their anger against the enemy but they lose something at the end. It doesn't matter weather they win or lose they must harm at least very little. A movie "Pianist" for an example, During World War II, lot of people died and had to have miserable lives because of the war. At the end of the movie, It shows how the wretched the country after war. It is never going to be better after war because someone always have to be a victim.
Onother example that i agree with this quote is how big the war is. North Korea attack South Korea with missiles but if they attacked with nuclear, war actually happend. And that is going to be a big war like world war I and II. Nuclear war can bring humandkind to a downfall. Thus war depends on how big the first attack is and the big war brings bigger harm.

  2. “People who fight fire with fire usually end up with ashes.” This is the quote i chose because of the reason that i agree with it 100%. When you are trying to solve a problem or something of that sort when you just bring about more problems then there already is it does nothing for you. Problems cannot be resolved without help from both ends of it. For example the book i am currently reading " Black Hawk Down" if they do not all work together and get everything straight it will cause alot of crisis and probably even death for some. By working as a group every once in a while can change someones life for the good of it. Just by agreeing with someones ideas one time can cause a better more positive result in the end.

  3. The quote that I agree with would have to be “people who fight fire with fire usually end up with ashes” by Abigail Van Buren. I agree with this quote because it’s true, whenever people fight or argue to a high extreme someone ends up with the consequences. If you go to someone that is angry with you, in a very hostile manner you both are fueled up majority of the time a fight will occur and someone will get hurt. When rival countries, sports teams, or companies go head to head everyone expects one or the other to be defeated which usually happens.
During the summer, my best friend and I had a huge fight and she was really angry with me. Instead of me approaching her all riled up and angry, I approached her in a civil matter so we could talk things out, and we did. If I had gone up to her loud and rude chances are we would have got into a fight and lost our friendship. Whether you’re arguing with your mom, or fighting your best friend, people who fight fire with fire usually end up with ashes.

  4. .”Princes and governments are far more dangerous than other elements within society.” I agree very strongly with this quote because te most powerful and influentual people in the worl belong to the governments. These people hve the powers to do what they please, from starting a war to ending one. The shear fact that they can change the world with one decision they make shows just how dangerous they really are. People make mistakes and yet we put some of them in absolute control over an entire nation. All it would take is a couple of corrupt leaders and all that we have worked toward in the past years would dissapear in an instant. I believe that political leaders are the most dangerous aspect of society in the world by far.

I agree. When people fight, they use simmilar tactics. If one side decided to start using neuclear or biological wepons, the other side will use them as well.
When both sides use them, theres nothing left for niether the winning side nor the losing side.

  6. The quote I picked to discuss is “People who fight fire with fire usually end up with ashes.” - Abigail Van Buren. I agree with this quote because I have seen it happen in multiple situations. It is never right to retaliate in any sort of fight and violence is definitely not the answer.
From personal experience in the subject I have learned that fighting fire with fire is never good. It always ends up bad for both parties and people tend to get hurt. Fighting fire with fire is almost never the correct thing to do and should be avoided unless it is your last resort and it is for a better purpose.

  7. The quote I picked is “People who fight fire with fire usually end up with ashes.” I agree with this quote because when people start to use fire arms then there is mass destruction and death. We see on TV all of the death that occurs from all the guns and violence on the streets and it doesn’t usually solve anything there is just “ashes.” There is never a good outcome when people fight with fire.
Also, during times of war when the enemy uses fire to fight battles things just end up in ashes. There is never a good outcome because there is always destruction. If people would talk out their conflicts then there would be less destruction and death and problems might be resolved quicker. Overall I completely agree with the quote because we see the destruction of using “fire” in our everyday lives.

  8. i chose “People who fight fire with fire usually end up with ashes.” - Abigail Van Buren. i agree with this quote because there is always loss in war. Even if you win you end up with the emotional and physical hurts from war. I experienced this first hand with my uncle, after he came home from war he had to go to therapy because when he drove down the road he thought he was seeing land mines and he would freak out. Even though he came back safe he was still emotionally scared.

  9. 1. “People who fight fire with fire usually end up with ashes.” - Abigail Van Buren

i agree with this because when people are fighting eachother someone is most likely gonna get really hurt or worse, killed. this quote can also mean that the more fighting there is the more problems there will be in the world.

if all the fighting begins to stop the world will become a better and safer place. everyone would become one with one another and we will live in a very peaceful world.

  10. I chose the quote “People who fight fire with fire usually end up with ashes.” by Abigail Van Buren. It means that when people retaliate, they get more then they wanted to deal with out of the situation. Heres an example, say two players in a basketball game are lking trash to eachother. It will get to the point where one person will try to take it too far when their angry by throwing a punch or trying to cause harm to the other player, he will get ejected from the game and most likely suspended for future games. It just shows how trying to get the best of someone will result in you paying the consequences of your actions.

  11. I chose the quote “People who fight fire with fire usually end up with ashes.” - Abigail Van Buren because I believe that this quote is true. Most people decide to take situations into their own hands if something bad happend instead of notifying any authority figure. Results of this can be bad. If you take matters into your own hands they can end up worse then they were before.
If you hand a problem over to authority then some action can be taken. For example; if you are being stalked you cannot handle that yourself. You should notify the police so some sort of force can be taken such as court or even a restraning order in some cases.
